We are pleased to announce that we have finalized the acquisition of the Atlas Nephrology and Hemodialysis Center in Marrakech, marking our continued commitment to providing quality care in the region. This acquisition constitutes Diaverum's second acquisition in Marrakech, strengthening our presence in the Kingdom of Morocco and bringing the number of our centers to five in three cities: Marrakech, Agadir and Meknès.

The Atlas Nephrology and Hemodialysis Center was founded in 1995 by Doctor Mohamed LISRI, after a training in Morocco and France then as an associated hospital practitioner at the C.H.U. from Strasbourg. A renowned figure in the field of nephrology and former Vice-President of the Moroccan Society of Nephrology, Doctor LISRI is recognized for his expertise and his dedication to patients as well as for his passion to evolve over the years the environment of nephrology and dialysis in Morocco. Its establishment offers care structures providing care for nearly 300 patients, some of whom are on peritoneal dialysis. Through the implementation of Diaverum’s world-class and clinical standards, innovative, digital solutions in combination with its True care culture, the Atlas Center will be well-positioned to offer an even more personalized care offering and a holistic approach covering early and preventive diagnosis through to replacement treatments for kidney function.

“It is with great pleasure that I join the Diaverum group with whom we share values around quality and close human care for our patients. This merger will also allow us to carry out a project that has been close to my heart for a long time, that of building a new nephrology establishment of excellence and which will see the light of day within three years,” specifies Doctor Mohamed LISRI.
“We hope, with the combination of the quality of care already practiced by Doctor LISRI's teams and our international standards as well as our teams, to consolidate our presence in Morocco r, supported by a desire and a continuous commitment to providing life-enhancing renal care to patients in the country”

The acquisition of the Atlas Nephrology and Hemodialysis Center in Marrakech marks a new crucial stage in this mission and in our desire to continue our development in Morocco,” concludes Toon KEUPINK, Managing Director Diaverum France & Morocco.

Diaverum wishes not only to improve the care of local patients but also to provide foreign patients, wishing to visit the Kingdom of Morocco, with a coordinated offer of services, particularly as part of our d.HOLIDAY vacation program. » and its international network of centers, whose teams around the world are trained with the same d.ACADEMY continuing education program.
The Diaverum group, already present in 24 countries in Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East, established itself in Morocco in 2019 with the acquisition of a first clinic in Marrakech. Today, Diaverum Morocco operates five establishments located in Marrakech, Agadir and Meknes, and is in continuous development.
